StiqNote vs Ybug
Ybug is a feedback and bug reporting tool from Europe, around since 2018 and used by more than 1,000 teams, by its own count. Visitors send an annotated screenshot from a widget on your site, or your team uses its Chrome or Firefox extension, and each report arrives with the browser, OS, screen size and console logs. It also has plugins for WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and Wix, and sends reports one way into more than 25 tools.
StiqNote works differently: comments stay pinned on the live page, where your team and your clients see and answer them, and clients join through a guest link with nothing added to the site.
Here's how they compare on 6 October 2026. Ybug's details come from its own website, listed at the bottom. Ybug lists its prices in euros.
Choose Ybug if…
- You want a widget on your site, or a CMS plugin. Ybug's widget collects reports from any visitor, and it has plugins for WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and Wix. StiqNote has no widget yet.
- You use a tool StiqNote doesn't connect to. Ybug sends reports to GitLab, Bitbucket, Zendesk, Freshdesk, Wrike, Teamwork, YouTrack, Google Sheets, monday.com and more, on top of the usual Jira, GitHub and Slack.
- Your team uses Firefox. Ybug has extensions for Chrome and Firefox. StiqNote runs in Chrome, Edge and Brave.
- You want a long track record. Ybug has been around since 2018 and shows a 4.8 rating on G2, Capterra and GetApp.
Choose StiqNote if…
- You want feedback to stay on the page. In StiqNote every comment is a pin on the element, and the whole team sees it on the live site, with the thread right there. Ybug's reports are annotated screenshots; we didn't find comments that stay on the live page.
- You review websites with clients. StiqNote guests open a link and comment on the real site, with no script and no account to set up first. Private notes stay inside your team. Agency adds client sign-off, page by page, with deadlines and reminders.
- You want two-way sync. StiqNote keeps status and comments in step with GitHub, Linear, Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Trello and Notion. Every Ybug integration we found sends one way.
- You want a session replay. StiqNote Pro adds a replay of the last 3 minutes to console and network logs. We didn't find a replay in Ybug.
- You're a team of 3. StiqNote Free covers 3 people. Ybug Free covers 1 team member.
- You're more than 15 people. Ybug's largest listed plan covers 15. StiqNote Agency covers 20, with more as you grow.

How to switch
There's no importer from Ybug. What works:
Keep your old reports where Ybug sent them: they're already in your tracker.
Connect the same tracker in StiqNote, so new feedback lands in the same place.
Send clients a guest link, then remove the Ybug widget from the site if you used it.
Questions
What's the main difference?
What a piece of feedback is. In Ybug it's a report: an annotated screenshot that goes to your inbox or tracker. In StiqNote it's a conversation pinned to the page, which your team and your clients keep on the live site until it's resolved, and which stays in step with your tracker.
Is StiqNote cheaper than Ybug?
For a team of 3, yes: StiqNote Free covers it, and Ybug starts at €13. From 5 to 10 people the prices are close, in different currencies. Above 15 people we didn't find a Ybug plan.
