Website feedback, in your Notion database

Feedback from the site becomes a page in the Notion database where your team tracks the work. When the page's status reaches Done, the pin on the page resolves.

On Pro and Agency. Try it free for 14 days, no card.

A thread sent to Jira, the Send to menu with GitHub, Linear and Asana, and the integrations in Settings

What goes into the page

  • Title: the comment's first line. When the database has a Tags or Labels property with an option for the type ("Bug", for example), the page gets it; otherwise the title starts with "Bug: ".
  • Content: the comment, the screenshot and files, links to the pin in StiqNote and the replay, and the page and browser details.
  • Logs: a folded toggle with the counts of errors and failed requests, and a link to the full log.
  • Assignee: set in the database's person property (one called Assignee or Owner first), when the thread's assignee is matched to a Notion user, or a default assignee.
  • Tag: stiqnote in the Tags or Labels property, so you can filter for everything that came from feedback. You can turn it off.

Status, both ways

StiqNote uses the database's status property, and Settings shows which one.

  • Resolve the thread, and the status moves to the first option in its Complete group (Done, usually).
  • Set the status to an option in the Complete group in Notion, and the thread resolves. Move it back, and the thread reopens.

A database without a status property still gets pages; the status just doesn't sync.

Comments, both ways

  • StiqNote replies → Notion comments: posted by the StiqNote integration as "Jane Smith via StiqNote". Private replies never go.
  • Notion comments → StiqNote: comments on the page come back to the pin as private notes. Your team sees them; clients don't, unless you choose to show them.

Set it up

  1. In the StiqNote sidebar, open Settings → Integrations and click Connect next to Notion.

  2. In Notion, pick the pages and databases StiqNote may use. Only those show up in StiqNote.

  3. Pick the default database. Each StiqNote project picks its own.

  4. Choose Send threads: Ask each time, or Every new comment.

  5. Check People, so assignees carry over.

Open a thread and use Send to… to create a page, or Link to existing… to search the database by title.

Questions

Which plan do I need?

Pro or Agency.

A database doesn't show up. Why?

Notion only shows StiqNote what you shared with it. Open the database in Notion, then ••• → Connections, and add StiqNote.

Does Notion get private comments?

No. Private comments and private replies are never sent.

Is there a priority?

No. StiqNote doesn't set a priority in Notion.
