Review rounds: clients sign off, page by page

Agencies work in rounds. You send the site, the client sends feedback, you fix it, and at some point someone has to say "this is approved". Usually that happens in an email thread nobody can find three months later.

On the Agency plan, StiqNote gives each site review rounds. Your client goes through the pages and approves each one, or asks for changes, right on the page. You see who said what, and when.

A review round: which pages each client approved, and whenA round's feedback deadline and a scheduled reminder

Start a round

Open Share and invite in the sidebar, then Review rounds, and click Start a review round.

  • Pages. Choose Whole site (any page the client opens is part of the round) or Pick pages. Picked pages come from the pages that already have comments, or from addresses you paste. For a big site, use Whole site.
  • Clients. Pick which of the site's guests to ask. Not invited yet? Invite them as a guest first.
  • Who has to approve. Any one client can approve (the first approval marks the page approved) or Every invited client must approve.
  • Due date and a note, both optional: "The new checkout flow is live, please focus there."

The clients you picked get an email with a link to the site.

What your client does

A bar on each page in the round asks: Done reviewing this page?

  • Approve this page. If there are still open comments on it, StiqNote says so and lets them approve anyway, or look at the comments first.
  • Request changes. They write what needs to change. The note is posted on the page as a comment, so you can answer it there.

They can undo their answer, and move on with Next page. Clients see their own answers and whether each page is approved. They don't see other clients' notes.

What you see

For every page in the round: its state (in review, approved, or changes requested), each client's answer with the date, and how many comments it got during the round.

  • Remind a client who hasn't answered yet. StiqNote sends at most one reminder a day per client.
  • Set a deadline. Once it passes, comments pause automatically, even mid-round. Schedule reminder emails before it, to whoever hasn't answered yet or to everyone invited.
  • Pause comments between rounds, once a round is closed or every page is approved. While it's paused, guests can't comment on its pages; your team still can. The bar tells them you'll open the next round.
  • Close a round when it's done, or reopen it.
  • Round history keeps every round: its pages, who approved what and when, the rule and the note.

You get an email when a client approves a page or asks for changes. You can turn that off in Settings → Notifications.

Start the next round

When you've made the changes, start round 2. The last round closes, and its answers stay in the history as a record.

A record, not a contract

StiqNote records each client's name, answer, note and time. It's a clear record for your own use, to settle "did they approve that?". It isn't an electronic signature. If you need a signed agreement with your client, arrange that separately.

With your brand

Clients see your logo, colour and name on the review bar and in the emails: invites, reminders and receipts come from "Your agency via StiqNote". See white-label branding.

Questions

Which plan has client sign-off?

Agency. It's included in the 14-day trial, so you can try a real round with a client.

Do clients need to install anything?

No. They review through the guest link in any browser, or with the extension if they already use it.

Can several clients review the same round?

Yes. Invite as many as you like. Choose whether one approval is enough, or every invited client must approve.

What happens to rounds if we leave the Agency plan?

Nothing is deleted. Starting new rounds needs Agency again.

Can I export the round history?

Not yet. It lives in StiqNote for now.
