Feedback your AI coding agent can act on
Your reviewers leave feedback on the page. Your coding agent works in the codebase. StiqNote connects the two: the agent reads the feedback, finds the code, makes the fix, and tells the reviewer what it did.
Included in Pro and Agency. Try it free for 14 days, no card.
What the agent gets
For each comment, the agent sees more than the words:
- The element: its HTML, classes and attributes, plus search hints to find it in your code.
- The page it's on, and where on the page.
- Browser logs: console errors and failed requests, and a text summary of the session replay (clicks, navigation, errors on a timeline).
- Suggested edits as a ready CSS patch and text replacements, each with the selector it applies to.
- The thread: replies, status, priority, type, assignee and due date.
What the agent can do
The StiqNote MCP server gives an agent these tools:
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
list_pages |
Every site and page with feedback, with open and total counts |
get_comments |
The comments on a page, written for an AI to read |
get_comments_json |
The same, as structured JSON |
get_comment |
One thread, with its element, replies, screenshots, logs and suggested edits |
search_comments |
Search across every page by text, status, type or assignee |
create_comment |
Leave a new comment on a page, for example a bug it found |
reply_to_comment |
Reply in a thread, to say what changed or ask a question |
resolve_comment |
Resolve a thread, or set another status |
update_comment |
Change status, priority, type, assignee or due date |
delete_comment |
Delete a test pin, duplicate or mistake (your own, or a resolved thread) |
whoami |
Which team, project and person the API key belongs to, with the key's prefix |
list_members |
The team's people, to know who to assign |
get_suggestion_patch |
A suggested edit as a CSS patch plus text replacements |
mark_suggestion_applied |
Resolve a suggestion, with a note on where it was applied |
get_review_rounds |
Client sign-off rounds on a site, with each page's state and every client's answer (Agency) |
The agent acts as the person who made the API key. Replies it posts notify the team like any other reply.
A typical loop
A designer uses Suggest an edit on staging: 16px more padding, a darker grey.
You ask your agent: "Work through the open StiqNote suggestions on staging.example.com."
It calls
search_comments, thenget_suggestion_patch, applies the CSS to the right component, and callsmark_suggestion_appliedwith the commit. The designer sees the thread resolved, with a reply saying where the change went.
Works with any MCP client
The server speaks the standard Model Context Protocol over stdio, so it works with Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and other clients that run local MCP servers. Setup is one API key. See MCP setup.
Also: an API and a CLI
- The API (
/v1) covers the same ground: pages, comments, search, members, replies and updates. Use it in your own scripts. - The CLI (
stiqnote) lists pages, prints a page's comments, replies and resolves from the terminal.
Safe by default
- Private notes are never shared through the API, the CLI or the MCP server.
- Keys belong to one team, and act as the person who made them. Create them in Settings → API & MCP, and revoke them there at any time.
- The key is shown once. StiqNote stores only a hash of it.
Questions
Which plan includes the MCP server?
Pro and Agency.
Do I need to host anything?
No server to host. The MCP server runs on your own machine, started by your MCP client, and talks to StiqNote's API with your key.
Can the agent see our clients' comments?
It sees what the key's owner can see in that team, except private notes. Guests' comments on the team's sites are included.
