Delete your account
#Delete it
- Open the sidebar, then Settings → Advanced.
- At the bottom, click Delete account….
- StiqNote shows what happens to each team you own.
- Click Delete account to confirm.
Your account and sessions are deleted straight away.
#What happens to your teams
- Teams you own with other members pass to their longest-standing member. Click Choose someone else to pick who takes over.
- Teams where you're the only member (or with only guests besides you) are deleted, with their pages, comments and files.
- Teams you're a member or guest of stay as they are.
#What happens to your comments
Comments you wrote in other people's teams stay, shown as "Deleted user". If you were a client in a review round, your answers are deleted.
#If you pay for a team
If you own a paying team that passes to someone else, the new owner becomes the billing contact and is asked to add a payment method before the next renewal. To stop paying instead, cancel the plan in Settings → Team and plan → Manage first.
#Leave one team instead
To leave a team but keep your account, go to Settings → Team and plan, open More, and choose Leave team….
#Remove the extension
Deleting your account doesn't remove the extension. To remove it, right-click the StiqNote icon in Chrome's toolbar and choose Remove from Chrome.
Database backups roll over within 30 days, after which your data is gone from them too.
