Statuses, assignees, priorities and due dates
Every thread has a status, a priority, and can have an assignee and a due date. They're on every plan, Free included. Guests see them but can't change them.
#Status
A thread is Open, In Progress, In Review or Resolved.
Click the status next to the pin number, at the top of the thread, and pick a new one. The check-circle button next to it is a shortcut: it resolves the thread, or reopens it if it's already resolved.
#Priority
Click the priority chip and pick Low, Medium, High or Critical. New comments start at Medium.
#Assignee
Click the + Assignee chip (or the current assignee) and pick a team member, or Unassigned. Assigning someone notifies them: it's one of the things Email me → Right away for covers in notification settings.
#Due date
Click the due date chip and pick a date. A thread past its due date shows Overdue in red, on the thread and in the Comments list. Click Clear due date to remove it.
#Filter and sort the Comments list
Open Filter in the Comments list to narrow by Type, Device, Author, Assignee or Due (overdue, this week, or no date). Clear filters removes them all at once.
Comments are grouped by status, each group collapsible, with a count and a ••• menu to hide that group's pins on the page, or (on Resolved) delete every resolved comment at once.
Sort by Newest, Oldest, Priority, Due date or Position on page, next to the search box.
#The weekly due-date summary
If you have anything overdue or due within the week, StiqNote emails you a Monday-morning summary of what's assigned to you. Turn it on or off in notification settings, under Weekly due-date summary; it needs Email me to be on.
#Questions
Can guests set a status, priority or due date?
No. Guests see the status and due date on a thread, but only your team's owners and members can change them.
Does resolving a suggestion do anything special?
Yes: resolving a suggested edit marks it Applied, so the team knows it's been made in the code.
Who can I assign a comment to?
Anyone on your team (owners and members). Guests can't be assigned comments.
